Eagles Mock Skips the Safety Sitting Right There

Philadelphia's board says secondary is a top need, and Koi Perich's model rank of 22 lines up perfectly with this pick — a 25-spot gap to where the room has him. Yet the house mock sends Nick Marsh, a wide receiver, at 22. That's not a reach on value; Marsh isn't even in the board-around-slot data. If the model's convinced Perich is a true first-round safety, Philadelphia taking a receiver instead isn't addressing the need it just listed — it's ignoring it.
