Players the model ranks at least 20 picks earlier than the consensus board. The bigger the gap, the bolder the bet — and the bigger the swing if the model is right.

Adam Trick Is the Model's Boldest Bet

Adam Trick sits 30th on the model, 184th in the room — a gap that's hard to ignore for a Texas Tech linebacker with a 15% bust rate. Xavier Scott isn't far behind; the room is far colder on the Illinois corner than Draftanomics's numbers suggest. Contrast that with Benjamin Brahmer, whose model-to-room split is the widest in this class — and it cuts the other way, with the room far warmer on the Penn State receiver than the model. Two boards, two very different sleepers.
